A good blender is seriously as important to me as a good man.
In the mid-90’s I invested into the Vita-Mix Super 5000. I’ve never looked back. Other blenders come and go, but I’ve never met one that performs even close to the standard the Vita-Mix has set.
With a motor that seems it could mow the lawn, this baby could practically turn a concrete brick into a smoothie. In 20+ years, it has never jammed or let me down.
It’s a permanent fixture on our kitchen countertop where it sits intimidating all of the other small appliances who know they just can’t compete. We use it at least 3 times every week for breakfast or post-exercise smoothies, to puree soups, turn dried bread into perfect crumbs, make pesto and much, much more. I heart Vita-Mix!
